The contest is simple. Those of you who know me know that I love Quotes. Can't get enough of 'em. Morning, day, night, afternoon...quote, quote, quote, quote, quote, quote, quote.
Scattered throughout these pages are some of my favorite quotes, quips, and bon mots. If any of my intrepid visitors can identify any of these quotes and report to me their source, they will be rewarded with a special biography written by yours truly, and officially sworn in as CITIZENS OF BEHEMOTH .
What is reporting the source? Well, you should at least be able to identify whatever movie, novel, song, or play that I'm quoting. Bonus points will be awarded if you can identify the author, character, or actor. Obviously, context counts. If I quote "That's the Biz, Sweetheart." you can't just say that your great-aunt Matilda says that all the time and claim a biography. If two entries are recieved simultaneously, this will be the deciding factor, so be sharp.
If you're identifying a movie and are able to name the film, character, actor, director and writer, then you're obviously me and thus disqualified.*
Everyone will be notified as to whether they have won or are silly buggers. The first entry recieved for each quote will be the winner and subsequent entries will be laughed at. Each winner will have their quote displayed next to their biography.
The quotes will change every couple of months, so there will be multiple chances to win. However, you can only get a new biography once a month. Otherwise, some of you hotshots would have me running ragged coming up with heirs:"Matthew D. Sellers the SIXTH is a right bastard who deserves everything his father got plus a kick in the face..."
