wont you teach me to smile ?
 now that i know what you mean
when you ask me to... 
wont you teach me to think,
to trust what i see and feel...
to tie together moments
in tapestries of experience,
should i fall 
from this razor edge i live on.
show me to build bridges 
from this moment
so that time makes sense
cause follows effect 
and the sun always rises
after the implosion of night
teach me to trust
that i am worth 
your smile
