Late in the 22nd Century, a military group was started by people from the Terran Federation and some lower Time Lords of Gallifrey, and some from a few smaller interstellar groups. they called themselves the Timeys. their primary enemies are a group calling themselves DALEKS (which btw doesn't have as many daleks in it as you'd think). the Timeys will of course fight any group they need to, Cybermen, Sontarans, whoever. the Timeys aren't officially recognized by any of the groups from which their members come. but their governments don't hastle them much, most of them recognize that they're good guys, and can be of help to them. tho some are quite against the Timeys, calling them stuff like 'glorified vigilantes'.

Derek Freyman is half Terran and half Gallifreian. he is captain of a really good tardis, which generally takes the form of a Terran Warship, called StarCrusher.

Freyman has two hearts, but is expected to have only 6 regenerations. for now he's on his first life.

oh, the DALEKS are a group that formed shortly after the Timeys did. they are comprised of bad guys from various groups, like daleks and cybermen and sontarans and rogue villains (like the master or rani-tho neither of them has ever been directly involved with the DALEKS). etc....
