Also in this year, the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans establish a colony on Nimbus III, the Planet of Galactic Peace.
2268, The second season of ST:TOS continues, starting with the episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion." It includes the episode "By Any Other Name," in which contact is established with agents of the Kelvan Empire, from the Andromeda galaxy; a planet is given to them, and a message drone is sent back to the Kelvan Empire.
The third season begins. I believe the one-time existence of the Preservers was established in the episode "The Paradise Syndrome." In "The Enterprise Incident," Kirk and Spock steal a Romulan cloaking device. The Tholians were introduced in "The Tholian Web," kironide was introduced in "Plato's Stepchildren."
2269 The third season of ST:TOS continues with "The Lights of Zetar." Also this year the Enterprise's fourth five-year mission is completed, Kirk is promoted to admiral and becomes Chief of Starfleet Operations.
