Wandering through this make believe world
Living their lives by peer perceptions
Dying by how life thought to be.

Others cruise by don't sit steps
Sending out signals easily read,
Catching an eye, turning a head,
Receiving signals from those steps
Pondering how future evening might be.

Still others, more, walk by this scene,
Couples living life's new found dream
Elders strolling through remembered lives,
Friends experiencing present senses,
Loners noting how it really be.
