Title: I breathe Writer: Sparkle Barker

I breathe in slowly watching you in the hospital bed eyes closed mouth shut. Waiting for you to take your next breath. I nudge your side and say "Hello it's ok it's me." I whisper in your ear "I hope you can hear me,I must tell you something, I love you." I pray to God that he would show me a sign that you heard me. You open your eye, the blood shot eyes just wink. I know you heard what I said. My worst day yet also my best.
