I saw angels descend from Heaven above It wasn't my fault I was under the influence of your love. They kissed my hair and held my hand They laid me on the soft beach sand They sang me love songs I never knew I know now theat they held no truth But it's not my fault I was under the influence of your love. When you came near I saw the angels in your eyes and the sand in your hair from when I lay on the beach I smelled the perfume of the angels when you held me close I felt all the love that they had wove But it wasn't my fault I was under the influence of your love. The air became intoxicating when you were near I heard every sound there was to hear Things were more vivid and more light was shed Things weren't normal so colorful instead Once again I say It wasn't my fault I was under the influence of your love.
