I saw you the other day I saw you the other day You glanced over at me But then you looked the other way I don't understand how that can be Didn't you recognize me? We lay eyes on each other after so long Yet I still love you the same I can't believe that we were both so wrong But its you on whom I lay the blame You knew that I loved you So why did you stop loving me When we were together it felt so true But you said you wanted to be free Instead, you just left me I saw you the other day You were with another girl "She's my sister" is what I hoped you'd say But what a small world And it all turned gray when you said, "She's my fiancee."
