To comfort one is hard when they say nothing And you don't know what to do They say silence is golden But to me it is deafning It just leaves you more time to think what you end up thinking is always the same the same depressing thoughts that feel your head continually their sorrow makes you see that you to feel the same so the silence feels the air while you both just sit there speaking no words and only wanting comfort but still no one speaks
