Title: Untitled
Writer: Michael Koepl

It's a war I never asked for,
A war none the less,
I only hope that when it's over,
We can say " We did our best".

Not like in 67,
68 and 69.
When America kept repeating,
"This is no war of mine"

Viet Nam was long ago,
But some lessons we have learned,
The soldier only does his job,
now to him we have turned,

Now tell him he is doing well,
Don't turn him inside out,
After all, he is but us,
and what we are all about.
