Title: As You Walk Away
Writer: Robert Culpeper

Each morning I awaken,
With the thought of someone on my mind;
I'm in such a hurry,
Yet, I have so much time.
When I arrive at my destination
I frantically look around;
I inquire whoever should pass,
Alas, you cannot be found!
I'm beginning to lose hope.
What if you're not here?
Is everything alright?
I'm panic-stricken with fear.
Just as my glimmering light
Slowly begins to fade...
I feel a familiar touch,
And hear my name.
All shame and remorse
Has instantly been replaced,
For whenever you're near
My heart shines on my face.
The moments that pass
Seem like glorified years:
Then the sound that seperates us
Almost bring tears.
Before we part
A special minute we share
The floor has left us,
We are now standing on air.
If it were possible
This is where we'd stay,
Sadly, as the wind changes
I must watch as you walk away.
