Today is just another day, Will I hear from you? I pray.

My life seems so incomplete, And so it will be, until we meet.

I want to open my life to you, However your interests seem so few.

I have waited for many years. And have lately shed my share of tears.

To judge you is NOT my aim, No need here to place any blame.

In our lives, we all falter, Who better to forgive, than a daughter?

So many years already gone by. I am willing; won’t you try?

At times I am so afraid. As it was not you By, whom I was raised.

Life has been quite good to me, So I feel for you, no hostility.

You are now deep in my heart, Even though miles keep us apart.

My beautiful girls will continue to grow, Yet their grandfather, they may never know.

I’m sorry if I’m asking too much, It’s your life I want to touch.

I cannot pressure you any more, The next move is all yours.

All I want, is to be honest with you, That way you realize my feelings are true.

Please know that I am sincere? Even through all of my fear.

I am feeling so out of control, Unsure of what my future holds.

To be rejected was not my design, But you have your life and I have mine.

I will accept whatever your will, No matter what, I’ll love you still.

My heart is breaking as I end, It is only you that can help it mend.

So now I guess its up to you, Just rest assured… all I’ve said IS TRUE.
