My name is Christie Clark, I'm 16 years old and a senior. I live in Elkton, Maryland. Among other things, I like to act. I'm very involved in our local youth theater program, and I also volunteer with their younger program for kids ages 5-12. Right now, I'm running tech for a production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown that some of my friends are doing. I also recently recieved my black belt in Isshinryu Karate, so be afraid, be very afraid. I love to read, my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Thomas Harris, J.K. Rowling. My favorite book of all time would have to be Night by Elie Wiesel.....it's just beautiful--READ IT!!!! My other favorites are (currently) The Green Mile, Death Be Not Proud, The Silence of the Lambs and the Harry Potter books (Not JUST for kids : ) As far as poets go, my favorite poet of all time is Dylan Thomas, my other favorites are Edgar Allen Poe and Robert Louis Stevenson, because he reminds me of when I was little and my parents used to read poetry to me : ) I love music, my favorite band is Counting Crows, they're music is gorgeous, the words are perfect, and I could listen to them all day. Other favorites are R.E.M, Nirvana (R.I.P. Kurt), Third Day, Jars of Clay, Smashing Pumpkins, Newsboys, Live, Rage Against The Machine, Ben Folds Five, etc. Well, that's not everything about me, but I don't think you want to know everything, I love getting E-mail, so write me : ) I LOVE GETTING E-MAIL!!!!
