Kim

Kim's name isn't Kimberly
    It's just Kim
She's got long and shiny hair
    It's not permed
She's got a spiritual man
    They don't kiss
Her Marlboros come by the carton--
She keeps them in the fridge
Her Barney Bear doesn't know
    That he's just a monkey
Her black Jeep's name is Betty
    She's pink on the inside
She lets Kari do her answering machine
    Thinks it's funny
Kim has a rotary telephone
    She hates technology
Everyone calls Kim a flower
    'Cause she's a poet
Kim thinks she's pretty foxy
    But not in church
She would really like to write
    The Bible in Haiku
If Kim's Dad were President
   The Inaguration would have
Simon and Garfunkel, the Cure, and the Beatles
    With Johnny Cash
She'd ask Johnny Cash
   'Cause John Lennon's dead
Kim's name isn't Kimberly
    It's just Kim.
