The Spell
Trying hard to sort his thoughts,
no true answers come to bear.
Looking desperately for his hearts desire,
future hopes are no longer there.
Trying to peice together the puzzles in his mind,
but his soul no longer cares.
Repeating the same questions over and over
while his heart remains in dispare.
People always trying to assist him,
but he refuses to accept their help.
He is afraid of lifes rejections,
so he remains inside a shell.
Although he never shows it,
he lives his life in Hell.
His fears have taken over
and his heart is in a spell.
Wishing to return to days of youth
and the joys that are in his past.
Where has all that joy gone?
Why could it never last?
He soon became afraid
and could no longer laugh.
He still could smile,
but that was only the mask.
Maybe there will come a day
when the answers he sill find.
He will leave his shell
and his eyes will show a sign.
His heart will start to care,
his life will start to shine.
He will once again live
and find peace within his mind.
