Rachel Applegate was orginally from Melborne, Australia. Her sisters and she were born and raised in Australia until their parents moved to England. Her father left her family after her youngest sister was born. So her mother had to raised the three of them all by herself. Her mother is also a missionary/lawyer. So when Rachel was six years old her family moved to England and got a house that was a former horse stable.
Rachel a tom-boy in heart. She loves to climb trees, swim in rivers, and camp-out. When people say that,"She should have in born a boy." she replies with a smile saying, "Just blame my cousins."
Her cousins are athletes that got her interested in Archery. She shot her first rabbit with a crossbow when she was four. Her cousins taught her to defend herself  with many choices of weapons and her taught her gymnastics.
Rachel goes to St. Michaels Private School with her friends Roxanne Buckmaster and Kelly Parks. She also goes to school with her closest friends that are angels. Which are Aria (Ruchiel), Chica (Morael), Bryn (Samael), and Marina (Gaghiel).
Sailor Michael's fuku is a typical angel suit with her primary color brown. She wears diamond earrings also. She uses her Brave-heart bow and arrow for her henshin and attack.
