Hayman (great Israeli composer). Disappointing album because for an unknown reason, Nurit
Galron does not really sings...she screams!!! Also, poor arrangements. |

Among the most beautiful Israeli albums ever. The songs are actually poems written by
Natan Zar and sung with new musical compositions. Great artistic value!!! Highly recommended! |

patchwork: a bit of this and a bit of that. Several live titles. The sound is not always
great. Yet, the result (as a whole) is a fantastic collection of high quality songs... Highly recommended! |

THE PLACE. NMC. This is a very good
album, and there are some gems in it. Still, it is not consistent and a few songs could
have been left out. PS: make sure to get the version with the bonus track "EYN MEDINA
LAHAHAVA" (last track written in black on the cover). Highly recommended! |

COLLECTION. NMC. This is a good compilation that
surveys Nurit Galron's career accurately. She also rerecorded a few of her old hits. These
new arrangements are good, but the original were not bad either (and the voice was
better). Highly recommended! |

Nurit Galron is a phenomenon.
She sings jazz, pop, rock, ballads, and even classical!!! Her voice is very particular, a
little nasal and it can be very high pitched or very deep (almost like a man). I think
that you like her or you hate her, but there is no real middle ground. I was not too fond
of her the first time I heard one of her songs, but by now, I like her a lot and realize
how talented she is. Several of her albums are simply breathtakingly great!!! She enjoys
singing poetic songs (actually real literary poems with music added), and when you listen
to her, you just have to close your eyes to taste a bit of Heaven and peace... You MUST
try her out!!!
