At the end of a runway in Arkansas tonight, the broken and burned pieces of America Airline flight 14-20.
The evidence of the plane's terrifying, and deadly, final minutes.
The MD-80 plane went out of control last night while landing in a heavy thunderstorm.
It hit a lighting tower, and burst into flames.
Somehow, most of 145 people on board were able to escape.
"We were just getting out and just trying to get people out and get safe.
And then it started to rain and hail and I thought we were going to be killed by a tornado."
"This wonderful man with a broken shoulder was pulling people out of the plane.
And I credit him with saving my life because I was kind of stuck in the plane and couldn't get out.
He just kind of yanked me out."
At least 9 people were killed and more than 80 injured.
Twenty others are still unaccounted-for.
But investigators say they may have simply walked away.
