Portrait of Two Ladies from Chillca Phinaya, Highland sector of Pitumarca. Woman at right wears a Liclla of supplementary warp weave (worn "inside out") with Inti and Cocha Pallay. Noteworthy are the Flat Hats (Monteras) composed of a rigid reed inner structure covered with plain treddle loom homespun ("Bayeta") and decorated with metallic thread applique. Woman on left displays jacket with upturned cuffs decorated with button applique. Note textiles in bundle.
