Remember a favorite place of yours in nature - a place where you can relax, feel safe, and at home. Lie on your back, get comfortable, and then start breathing naturally and easily. Take yourself to that place in your mind. Remember a time there when you felt happy and relaxed. If a place and time do not come easily to mind, then tell yourself a story about a place where you would feel happy and relaxed.  See yourself walking gently to that place, lying down comfortably on the ground, or sitting peacefully in a chair. Notice the colors around you. Breathe them in, in all their richness as you see them in your mind's eye. The bright blue sky, the azure lake in the distance, the green grass all around you, the oranges, reds, yellows and violets of the flowers in the nearby beds in full bloom. Breathe in the colors. Increase their richness and variety in your mind. Do this for ten minutes, Then gently come back to the present, newly refreshed adn relaxed. As you pracitce this, so your ablility to bring more detail and variety in color and scene will increase.
