At eleven, Jason left with Bethany for lunch. Alex decided to do something he had never done before, cook. He walked into the kitchen.
"What are you planning to cook?" Brandon asked. Alex opened the freezer.
"There's some fish left. Would you like some?" Brandon blinked.
"Made by you? No thanks." He walked away. Alex grunted.
"Fine! more for me." He started with putting the frozen fish into a pan.
"Let's see. What spices go with fish?" He thought for a while. He got out some butter, salt, pepper, dill, and paprika. He put a slice of butter on the fish, and sprinkled it with salt and dill. Then he used the pepper and paprika in large amounts. Satisfied, he put it in the oven at three-fifty degrees.
Brandon had come back to see the result when Alex took it out. "What did you put on that thing?" He asked.
"Butter, pepper, salt, dill, and paprika." Alex answered. "Looks good, doesn't it?"
"It looks something, I don't know about good. Have you tasted it?"
"I was just about to." Alex set the pan on a towel and took out a fork. He took a piece of fish and put it in his mouth. He cringed.
"Eh, it's good!" He lied. Brandon shook his head.
"How about some leftover salad?"

After Jason come back, they decided to see a movie.
"'The Time Machine' is supposed to be good." Jason said, looking at the newspaper.
"What's it about?" Brandon asked.
"It's about this guy who builds a time machine and travels to the future." Alex said.
"Have you seen it?" Jason said.
"Yeah. It's okay."
"When does it start?" Brandon said.
"Three. That gives us one hour. Do you want to see it." Jason replied.
"Yeah. It sounds okay." Brandon said.
