The new EELS album, entitled 'Daisies of The Galaxy' is set for a release early next year, according to spin.com.

Peter Buck of REM makes a guest appearance on the album. In a statement, E said cryptically: "People been bitin' my style for a long time. Now, I'm about to drop some serious science on their heads. Let 'em deal with that." The band's label Dreamworks has a short film of eels at work in the studio posted on their website.
