Boy! Thats what can happen when you hire people from off the street...Now, I'll take over.
I've been into computers and music for as long as I can remember (...about the last 15 minutes!). I am a multi-instrumentalist whose strengths are in keyboards and percussion. During the '80's I was a real, honest-to-God member of New York's legendary Paradise Garage,(and right around the corner was Vinyl Mania). I witnessed the creation of nearly every style of electronic dance music going now.
My strong preference is the "deep" or "Garage" or "New Jersey" style of house characterized by an explosion of soulfulness.
My influences include everything from zydeco, to punk, to hard bop, to classical. This means my style is a distinctive, eclectic pastiche of modern tonal (and even atonal) expression.
I am working now on a remix project.
