CUNNINGHAM GENEALOGY TREE

About 6 years ago, thanks to e-mail and user groups, I met a real "cousin" who provided me with a lot of information regarding our shared family. He also had something else that he felt would be extremely interesting to me, based on my signature file of surnames. Within a few short days, I received a snail-mail package that literally blew my socks off.It was a blueprint, handwritten and signed by the author in 1918. He was 31 years old then and expecting his first child. This information was compiled as a priceless gift to his child. However, since the child was so young, the effort he took to compile this information might not have been delivered into the proper hands at the time of adulthood. I would certainly be ready to relinquish this prize if the proven descendant were to come forth.

The document is a blueprint, approximately 5 ft. x 4 ft. I have transcribed every detail of the file (maintaining all data as it was on the original). In order to make names and generations easy to find, I have separated them and number-coded them and this should make it relatively easy to find the next or past generations (especially with a "FIND" function). There are some places where I could not tell whether the author intended one location or another - they were kind of inbetween - I indicated those locations with Bold ?. Also, I started from the beginning of the document and the original families and Found and Replaced each Surname from Mixed Letters to all Capitals - This should also demonstrate the family surnames carried down through the generations. I tried to make this as easy to read as possible - I imagine it would be also more easy to read if you print it out first and lay it out according to generations and SECTIONS. There are 5 sections. If you find a glaring error, please e-mail me to let me know. Otherwise, I will probably catch the error eventually if it isn't important to the communcation of the data. I was very careful to read and spell the names as the author did - some I might have questioned and a few might be obviously questionable but I maintained his accuracy.

There are possibly a few people still alive who are listed on this document. I debated as to whether to put their names down and decided that in the interest of genealogy, and due to the age of this document, there would be more use served from publishing this information than from withholding the information. So, if you know of, or are, one of these people listed, please contact me by e-mail and let me know of your feelings regarding this matter.

E-MAIL ME

And to all, please use this ONLY to further the searches - hopefully this will provide some precious information to give at least a few people a good night's sleep for a change. I have not yet been able to find the missing link between this family and my own. But, there is hope, more hope today, than ever.
