Meet Cyrano!
This is Cyrano de Birdgerac... Cyrano for short.  He's a male red-sided eclectus, born in October of 2000.
Fun Facts:
In the Eclectus species, the males are green, and the females are red and purple.  When people first started breeding them (or at least tried to), they couldn't get the birds to make any offspring!  Silly people.  They were putting red birds with red birds and green ones with green.  They thought they were two different species!
More about my pet:
Cyrano is a lean, green, eating machine.  He loves his pellets, Nutriberries, and any veggie he can get his beak on!  Also, in classic Eclectus style, he's a bathing beauty...  I take him into the shower with me, and I come out with a drenched bird!
