It's Me!

Me circa 1964. The Halo has since fallen off.

I made a pretty good pumpkin.

See no Halo!

Me and "bessie" at the Wisconsin state fair 8/02

This was taken June 2002 moments before MissTherese and I slow danced
to "Unchained Melody" on the Patio of Damon's West!

This was taken at The Prairie Moon Park in Cochrane, WI 8/02. Some eldery man created the park with cement and pieces of glass and shells.
It looked like a great place to spend the day and have a picnic, unfortunately we found it a little after breakfast and we had miles to go.

Happy 40th birthday to me

People always ask how I got my nickname EGG, so I will share the story with you:

Well about 10 yrs ago when I was young and daring and before it was popular, I dyed my hair an eggplant color. ( I kept my hair this color for about 2 years). This dye job just happened to be done for the first time a week before Easter. One co-worker asked me if I had done this for Easter and was I a dyed Easter egg?

Over the weeks that followed every egg joke imaginable was told to me by my co-workers... Did I get my make up done by PAAS? ... Was I scrambled? ... Or was I hard boiled? ... I was told to avoid all men with the last name Benedict or Foo Yung... If I was shot out of season was I poached? ... I was asked to hide so they could try and find me. You get the idea.

The name just stuck and I will forever be EGG. Even if I quit and got another job, I would still be EGG. Most of my friends call me some variation of EGG and even the children of my best friend call me EGG. In fact she thinks EGG is my real name, short for Eggalina!!!

Something very funny about the whole thing is that my ex-roommate's name is Robin. Just imagine the responses we used to get on our answering machine..."Robin and EGG can't come to the phone right now......"

That is how I became the EGG
