funfolk is an original folk pop rock band who mixes melodic melodies with a classic folk harmonic influence to create a sound unique yet strangely familiar.

Their music sounds like the songs ordinary people would write about their lives if they had studied music theory performance and composition for years and years, then only sort of remembered it all.

Matt and Phil have been together writing and performing original material through many years and varied projects.

Their lyrical blend is both honest and deeply introspective.
