This particular overpass is of relatively recent vintage.
The similarities to its contemporary spanning the Belt at Pennsylvania
Avenue in Brooklyn can't be ignored. I suspect even the DOT isn't
sure whether it's the Nassau Expwy here, or South Conduit Avenue,
since the overpass still lacks the tiny green directionals always
plastered to overpasses identifying what roads they carry. It
seems like an awfully substantial affair to belong to a mere
avenue, but the Queens Conduits have been known to be tenacious
of their positions as the Belt Pkwy's Queens section service
