I have forgotten about them completely.

In these dreams
I find them sometimes perhaps
even years later neglected, starving...
Dying like a lost soul astray.

Overwhelmed with despair I become 
compelled to reach out to them,
to save them and feed them
and care for them.

I just want to make up for all the years
of neglect as quickly as possible.

And nurture the forgotten wound
the forgotten relationship
the forgotten soul...

because now I remember...

I am an overflowing fountain
