This one is my first full sized back piece, on Carmela from Atlantic City, & is an ongoing work in progress. The characters are from Neil Gaiman's award winning Vertigo comic book series, 'The Sandman', featuring all the members of The Endless, Destiny, Death, Dream, Delirium, Despair, Destruction, & Desire, & also Matthew the Raven. I've been enthralled by Neil's work since the series began in '87, & even met my wife after I plagiarized his characters for my punk rock fanzine & then asked for marriage proposals from Death lookalikes, so this piece means a hell of a lot to me, & it was so cool to meet someone else who had it mean as much to them, enough to wear it for life.

Carmela is a semi-professional photographer, (a tempermental one at that, & has asked for the whole piece not to be displayed until its completion) & I have her to thank for the new camera equipment that assures me that my work will be recorded properly!
