HISTORY

Alison Ackerman was the daughter of a congressman. Her father was a life long politician. She attended Duke University and got a job as reporter after moving to New York. She found difficult to be taken serious as a reporter due to her age and sex.

One night Alison was walking to her Manhattan apartment when she was mugged. Her attacker enjoyed beating her. She lay in an alley with her body broken. Then Alison was visited by a figure. A woman in white cloak with appeared in the alley. She extended her hand to Alison. When Alison took her hand she was changed into Fury! Her body was healed and strong. She sported a red leotard costume with green trimings. She instantly knew she was the next Fury.

Their was another Fury super herione in the forties and fifties who disappeared long ago. But Alison understood she was the next in line to bear the title.

Alison helped form the original Crusaders. She got involved with the hero Dark Knight. But due the pressures of a inter racial relationship they parted ways. Man Mountain also had a crush on her but moved on as well. Alison met her demise battling the mysterious creature that attacked the team one summer afternoon. Despite her superstrength and flight ability she was no match for the beast. The first to go down. She bled to death on the ground.

Recently another Fury has arisen. It seems the one is chosen every generation. The current Fury is a Protector.
