History:

Michale ManMountain grew up in a reservation in New York state. At an early age he moved to the big city to make a living. At age 14 he started working in construction. He was already over six feet tall and by 16 already stood at 6'5". Michael soon learned he had great strength surpassing any other man. Michael was an emotional man and decided to use his power to protect the poor and week within the metropolis of New York city. There were other superhuman heroes around but not many. ManMountain quickly became an urban legend. He became the target of mobsters and others. But he could not be harmed by ordinary men.

In 1964 the super villain known as Mad Mage attacked the mayor of New York. To the mayor's rescue came Man Mountain, the vigilante Dark Knight, the super heroine Fury, and a young kid calling himself ESP. The quartet defeated the powerful Mad Mage and decided to ban together as a team calling themselves the Crusaders. Michael took the code name Mountain Man. They quicky became the world's premiere super team saving the world many times.

A few years after them uniting they met a tragic end. A strange creature attacked them. He was believed to have been an alien or supernatural in origin. The heroes fought strong but were slaughtered one by one. Michael was the last one standing. He was the last to go down. The battle was televised on television. Like a warrior born Michael would not give up. But finally he did dying on the ground.

The sidekick ESP miracously survived and went own to form another Crusaders team. He recruited John Man Mountain the younger brother of Michael. John also took the codename Mountain Man as a tribute to his brother.

It is rumored that Michael fathered a child by Dark Knight's sister. But there has never been any evidence.
