The ranch is being haunted by a phantom horse, and damaged by an unknown enemy. Nancy takes the challenge to solve this mystery aided by her friends Bess Marvin and George Fayne.

#7 Clue in the Diary.
Nancy and her friends Bess and George are returning from a country carnival when they witness the explosion and burning of a beautiful country mansion. They rush to the rescue and unexpectedly find themselves confronted with a mystery that seems to be insoluble.

#8 Nancy's Mysterious Letter.
By mistake Nancy receives a letter from England intended for an heiress, also named Nancy Drew. When Nancy undertakes a search for the missing young woman, it becomes obvious that a ruthless, dangerous man is determined to prevent her from finding the heiress or himself.

A group of professional detectives challenge Nancy to tackle a mystery that they have failed to solve: find an invaluable message hidden by a missionary centuries ago in a hollow oak tree in Illinois. While searching the woods for the ancient tree Nancy and her friends stay with a group of young archaeologists who are excavating prehistoric Indian burial mounds ona near by farm.

#13 Mystery of the Ivory Charm.
Whatsecret life giving power does the exquisite ivory elephant charm contain? Can thetrinket really protect its wearer from all harm? Nancy finds out when the owner of the Bengleton Wild Animal show asks her to investigate one of the performers who may be involved in some mysterious illegal scheme.

#14 The Whispering Statue.
Nancy Drew is asked to solve a puzzling mystery and immediately is confronted with another more complicated one. The first one concerns a valuable collection of rarre books that Mrs. Horace Merriam commissioned a supposedly reputable art dealer to sell, but she now suspects that the man is a swindler. The second mystery involves around the baffling theft of a beautiful marble statue that some what resembles Nancy.

#15 The Haunted Bridge.
Mr. Drew is investigating an international ring of jewel theives and asks Nancy to assist him. But Nancy has another mystery to solve, an old wooden footbridge guarded by a ghost. Nancy decides to invesigate. Several riddles confront the young detective as she attempts to solve the mystery and track down a women who may be a key member of the gang of jewel theives.

#17 Mystery of the Brass Bound Trunk
From the moment Nancy Drew boards an ocean liner leaving for New York, she becomes involved in a new and dangerous mystery. A man on the pier gestures to someone on board in sign language. BEWARE OF NANCY DREW AND NE. Who could NE be? Can it be Nelda Detweiller, a young South African who shares a cabin with Nancy, Bess and George?

#18 Mystery of the Moss-covered Mansion
Carson Drew's friend, Mr. Billington, is accused of sending explosive oranges to the Space Center at Cape Kennedy. Knowing that his friend is inocent, Nancy and her father come to his aid. During their investigation Nancy becomes suspicious of an old, spooky mansion, where wild African animal roam the grounds.

#19 The Quest of the Missing Map.
This is my most favorite of all Nancy Drew books. It was so good that I couldn't put it down and finished it in a couple hours. With only a few slim clues to guide her - a half map and Tom Smith's vague memories - Nancy sets out to find Mr. Smith's long lost twin brother, who possesses the rest of the map tha will pinpoint the location of buried treaser willed to them by their father. Nancy is also involved in another mystery dealing with the strange occurances at Ship Cottage. She learns that some how these two mysteries are connected to the buried treasure.

#21 The Secret in the Old Attic.
Nancy races against time to unravel the clue's in a dead man's letters. If she succeeds, Philip March and his little granddaughter can be saved from financial trouble. Following the obscure clues, Nancy undertakes a search for some unpublished musical manuscripts, which she believes are hidden in the dark, cluttered attic of the March mansion. But someone else wants them bad enough to put frightening obstacles in Nancy's way.

#25 The Ghost of Blackwood Hall
When Mrs. Putney seek Nancy Drew's help in recovering her stolen jewelry, the search sends Nancy and her two young friends to the colorful French Quarter in New Orleans. The young sleuths investigations lead her to a deserted old mansion haunted by a phantom organist.

#26 The Clue of the Leaning Chimney
Nancy and her friends Bess and George become rapped up in the mystery of the leaning chimney. They are fascinated by the weird Chinese symbols that are on the chimney of a brick house surrounded by a high fence. Nancy is asked to solve a mystery involving a missing Chinese family and there talent in making fine pottery.

# 27 Secret of the Wooden Lady
Adventure arises in Boston Harbor as Nancy Drew helps Captain Easterly uncover the mystery of his ghostly visitors. From the clever young detective take up residence on the old clipper ship they are confronted with fire, theft, and other dangerous situations. Nancy faces an additional challenge: to find the clipper's missing figurehead, which will help her lawyer father trace the history of the ship, Bonny Scot and establish a clear title to the ship for Captain Easterly.

# 28 The Clue of the Black Keys
Terry Scott, a young archaeology professor, seeks Nancy's help in unearthing a secret antiquity which can only be unlocked with three black keys. The young detective is plunged into an adventure that demands all her ingenuity and bravery as she and her friends follow a tangled trail of clues that lead to the Florida Keys and finally to Mexico.

#29 Mystery at the Ski Jump
When Nancy learns that their housekeeper has been duped by an elegantly dressed woman into buying a stolen fur piece, Nancy starts the search for the clever swindler. Nancy's determination to capture the elusive, dangerous Mitzi Channing takes her to northern New York State and Canada. Nancy learns that the thief is using the name Nancy Drew, which causes Nancy to be questioned by the police.

# 33 The Witch Tree Symbol
When a neighbor asks Nancy to accompany her to an old uninhabited mansion, a new mystery opens up, and danger lurks on the second floor. Nancy finds a witch tree symbol that leads her to Pennsylvania Dutch country in pursuit of a cunning and ruthless thief.

# 40 The Moonstone Castle Mystery
When Nancy receives a valuable moonstone as a gift from an unknown person Nancy id puzzled, but this is only one out of several clues that Nancy finds. Trying to uncover the where abouts of the Bowens missing 17 year old grand-daughter leads Nancy and her friends to Deep River, where they come across a haunted castle called Moonstone Castle. Nancy figures out that the haunted castle and the mystery of her moonstone gift are related, but how are these clues related to the disappearance of Joanie Horton, the Bowen's grand-daughter.

#42 The Phantom of Pine Hill
When Nancy and her two close friends arrive for the Emerson University June Week celebration and learn there has been a mix-up in their motel reservations, the confusion leads to a baffling mystery. In between enjoying the university's June week boat races, river pageant, and fraternity dances, Nancy and her friends work hard to solve the mystery of Pine Hill and to find the long lost wedding treasures of Uncle John's.

#43 The Mystery of the 99 steps.
Nancy Drew's search for a flight of 99 steps to solve the mystery of a friend's weird dream takes her to France. But before she leaves the U.S a stranger calling himself Monsieur Neuf warns Nancy not to go. With her friends Bess and George, Nancy arrives in Paris to join her father, who is working on another case. Startling discoveries convince Nancy that Mr. Drew's case and her own are linked by the 99 steps.

#46 The Invisible Intruder
Nancy and a group of friends start out on a ghost hunting expedition to investigate five places reputed to be haunted. Danger strikes at once when Nancy tries to over take the canoe that paddles itself in Lake Sevanee. Thrills and chills mount as the ghost hunters pursue a phantom horse and ghost rider racing across the field that surrounds the Red Barn Guesthouse. This unusual and intriguing atory will delight all Caroline Keene fans.

#50 The Double Jinx Mystery
A sick bird is mysteriously left on the Drews' front lawn. This strange incident involves Nancy in her famous lawyer father's case concerning a rare tree bird farm threatened with destruction to make room for a new apartment complex. People against the destruction of the bird farm are becoming victims of frightening jinxing by bad luck symbols and other threats to their safety. Even Nancy and her good friend Ned Nickerson become targets! Nancy learns that helping people come over their superstitions can be as hard as tracking down criminals.

#54 The Strange Message in the Parchment
A sheep farmer receives a mysterious telephone message after buying a series of picture painted on parchment, so he asks Nancy to help him out. Along with his daughter, Junie, Nancy tracks down a kidnapper and a group of extortionists. Clues weave in and out of several puzzles, two of which are linked with Italy. Is there a connection between the message in the parchment and a boy on another farm? And who is responsible for the fear in the atmosphere?

#55 Mystery of Crocodile Island.
In response to a friend's call for help, Nancy's father asks her to travel to mysterious Crocodile Island with her friends Bess and George to study the reptiles and try to uncover a group of suspected poachers. Upon their arrival in Florida, the girls are kidnapped, but cleverly escape to pursue their detective work. Dangers mount as they cope with reptiles, enemy boats, and exciting chases after the men who are responsible for a sinister racket that involves many unsuspecting victims. In the end Nancy makes a bold move to untangle the mass of clues. She and her boyfriend Ned become imprisoned in the enemy's submarine and are held for ransom! #56 The Thirteenth Pearl.
Nancy is asked to find a stolen pearl necklace that is unusual and very valuable. She learns that strange and dangerous people are responsible for the theft. They harass her at home and continue when her and her father go to Japan. They kidnap Nancy and Ned when she returns to River Heights. Through clever sleuthing, Nancy is able to penetrate the rites of an amazing group of pearl worshipers. Readers will love following Nancy's journey to Tokyo in this book.
