What a difficult concept to grasp
We live and breathe and pay no attention
to the elements that help it to last
How and where and when and why?
Are only a few of the doubts
Some of these questions we never ask
until we begin to find out
But then is it crazy or even too late?
Are we blinded from finding the truth?
So we only can use the eyes of our souls
to take us beyond that loop
Sometimes too far is just not enough
Sometimes too short is too far
Then we just confuse the things that we know
the things that we already are
So how do we know how to handle it all?
And how do we take it all in?
It seems as if it never gives up
from the very moment it begins
There's only one way that I can think
One piece of advice to give
Take every day as if it were new
smile, look up, and just live
Jesus Christ payed all of our dues
So that we could live with no fear
So as complex as life presents itself
just sit back and let the Lord steer.
