If Only For a Minute by Daniel "Spuks" Mansell - 3/9/00 |
Too often we don't take the time to explore the evertrue state of our lives Too often we listen to those who just guess and those who claim to be wise While all this time and all around the facts remain the same And even though we rest our minds, we're still the ones to blame In life, love, joy and pain, and in all that we've come to know We choose to take it in and learn, and then we choose to let it go When accomplishing life a sense of pride echoes still the same When we call out to the world of existence, but call out the wrong name But oh to see the truth of things and to know what we really desire To feel the warmth with no condition spreading within like a fire 'Tis a mystery to some, a goal to be reached, sitting just beyond their reach That when finally acquired can be passed along, a helping of such for each But what is easily seen is the same ignored time and time again So readily given, a gift of love, hidden by denial and sin If only for a minute one would take the time to see the truth as it goes They could open their arms and embrace the love that our Heavenly Father bestows The meaning of life could be so clear that even its clarity is explained How all is right and nothing is lost, but everything is gained This is the answer and this is the truth that the whole needs to learn and embrace Then all the doubts are conquered and all the trials can be faced Then so often we'll take the time to explore the evertrue state of our lives And we'll never listen to those who guess but only those who are wise Back To Life |
