Hello Nobody
by Daniel L. Mansell - 3/4/99
Hello Nobody, just how long has it been?
It's good to see you're still here so we can talk again.
I hear you have been busy doing all sorts of things
Every time I turn around someone says your name.
You're the one that comes to the door, when somebody isn't home
And when people aren't around, you're the one that answers the phone
You're the one that does the work, that just never gets done
And when someone breaks the window, you are always the one
So just how do you do that, you must be quite the guy
I think you're just not noticed as the people pass you by.
Why it is this way, I don't quite comprehend
But if you ever need a pal just come to me my friend.
You can tell me all your secrets, and I can tell you mine
After all I am around you pretty much most of the time
So now I'd like to thank you, for always being around
As long as you are here, I'll always feel safe and sound.
