Embellished Bracelet Swap
          The following bracelets are the result of the Embellished Bracelet Swap hosted by Charlene Booth.  Participants created
          the base for their own bracelet, then sent
          their bases to their partner who added embellishment  sent the bracelet back.  Following are the "before" pictures.
          "After" pictures will be added as the
          bracelets are completed.

          Karole Conaway's base is made of net stitch.  Karole created the bar
          and loop clasp with a technique of her own.
          The embellishment for Karole's bracelet was added by Michele Kopack.
          Michele was inspired by the 'Star Flowers' in Paula Adams' newest book, Amulet Bags, Vol. 2.  Michele used 11/0 Ceylon and Gilt-Lined beads
          in pastel Spring colors. 
           
          Michele Kopack's base is made of net stitch.  Michele will be
          adding a button clasp to her base before sending it to her partner.
          The embellishment for Michele's bracelet was added by
          Karole Conaway.  When I wrote to tell Karole how much I loved
          her design, Karole said, "It was really fun to do because I just let
          the beads take control! There is so much freedom in beading like that."

          Delia Johnson created her base using Herringbone (Ndebele) stitch.
          It has a button and loop clasp.
          The embellishment for Delia's bracelet was be added by Cindy Aquiar.
          Cindy used crystals and braided strands of seed beads to create the lovely embellishment for this bracelet.

          Cindy Aguiar created her base using Two-Drop Peyote stitch.
          She used a silver clasp.
          The embellishment for Cindy's bracelet was added by Delia Johnson.
          Delia used a beautiful cabochon as the centerpiece for her embellishment, then encircled it with seed bead lace.

          Janet Killips created her base using net stitch.
          She is using a beaded toggle clasp.
          The embellishment for Janet's bracelet was added by Connie Welch.
          Connie used lots of vintage flowers, leaves, charms to embellish this beautiful bracelet.

          Connie Welch created her bracelet base with size 8/0 beads,
          and used Ndebele (Herringbone) stitch.  She is using a button and
          loop clasp.  The embellishment for Connie's bracelet will be added
          by Janet Killips.

          Laurie Saikin created her base using net stitch.
          She is using a beaded ball and loop clasp.
          The embellishment for Laurie's bracelet was added by
          BrendaLea Abbott.

          BrendaLea Abbott used the loom to create her bracelet base.
          The embellishment for BrendaLea's bracelet was added by Laurie Saikin.
          When Laurie discovered that BrendaLeas's favorite flower was an
          Iris, a "wrist corsage" seemed like a wonderful idea for embellishing her bracelet base.  I'm sure BrendaLea will love it.

          Suzanne Eichenlaub used a combination of Ladder stitch and Brick stitch to create her bracelet base.  The embellishment for Suzanne's bracelet will be added by Jan Wasser.

          Jan Wasser created her bracelet base using Freeform stitch.  She is using a bar and loop clasp.  The embellishment for Jan's bracelet will be added by Suzanne Eichenlaub.

          Beverly Moon's bracelet base is done in size 8/0 beads using Flat Ndebele stitch.  She is using a silver spring clasp.
          The embellishment for Beverly's bracelet was added by Dorothy Beeler Jones.  Dorothy used glass leaves, seed beads, and a beautiful pink and green fire blown bead as her focal point while creating the embellishment for this lovely bracelet..

          Dororthy Beeler Jones' bracelet base is made using Ndebele stitch.  Dorothy used Blue Iris size 11 Czech squares to create her base.
          The embellishment for Dorothy's bracelet was added by Beverly Moon.
          Beverly has used individually beaded flowers and leaves to create a beautiful garden for Dorothy to wear on her wrist.

          Judith Giffin created her "bead soup" base using bead crochet.  She will be adding a toggle clasp.  The embellishment for Judith's bracelet will be added by Lisa Hayes.

           
          Lisa Hayes created her bracelet base using Delica's with Flat Peyote stitch.  She has submitted two photos so you can see what the bracelet looks like when laid flat and also when closed.  The embellishment for Lisa's bracelet will be added by Judith Giffin.
