Title: Unreasoning Jealousy
Writer: Aries
Through Darkened halls and emerald light,
I move swiftly through the night.
Under stars set high in sky,
I must move fast, or soul will die.

Under full moonlight shining so bright,
I pray my silent prayer tonight.
Gods give me courage to simply stand still,
Not move for false jealousy, nor despairs crying will.

Deep in my heart a face yet remains,
One filled with love, Oh gods, how it pains.
For over this image a shadow does hover,
E’en though deep in my soul, I know, I am her only lover.

Gods let me stand still,
Grant me this force of will,
This wound it will heal,
Truest of love, I know, is all she does conceal.

Why gods, why do this emotion I feel?
I ask as I kneel.
Deep in the night, on forested hill,
Gods give me courage to simply stand still.
