Title: Love in the Works
Writer: Heather Lenhart

I see you and all my senses
become aware of your presence.
I notice every move you make
without actually seeing it.

I go to sit down by you; smile--
in the hopes of obtaining a
smile back from your wonderfully curved lips,
your beautiful smile comforts me.

We ease into conversation
and I lose myself in your voice.
I look into your deep brown eyes
and find myself longing to bare my soul

We dance, and you hold my hands in yours.
You make me feel safe; protected.
In your arms I'm on top of the world,
your gentle touch can make me fly

Your sweet caress; your loving look,
can both set me free from my chains.
A simple joke from your mouth
can make me laugh for hours and hours.

It's love in the works.
