Who I am, What I do

Hmm...where to begin in describing oneself? I'll do the easy first:
Name: Darkshadow (heh)...okay Michael Nickerson
D.O.B: 9/30/77 (for those of you who are morons at math like me, that makes me 23)

That's my picture there, taken with my new Irez Kritter USB cam. Not the best of quality, but it works. I'll have something else up sooner or later, this is just temporary. Now let's see, it's me you want to know about not my cam. Hmm. I love pulling pranks, though I haven't done that in a long long time. And you probably haven't noticed (yet), but I tend to ramble when I write. Not when I talk (in fact, my friends say I don't talk enough), but I do ramble when I write. Can't help it I suppose, I just love writing, no matter what it is. Well, that's not exactly true, I HATE writing reports...but who doesn't? Sometimes I have a hard time writing, but not in rambling. So forgive me if I get way off subject, I'll get back on it sooner than later.
So, what more do you want to know? Well, not only do I ramble, but my mind tends to wander. Only happens when it's quiet around me though. I need distractions to concentrate - strange, eh? Of course, if it's distracting enough, I'll pay attention to it...ah, don't try to make sense of it, not even I can. Of course this helps me out with things a lot. I couldn't give you an example, but I'm sure it does. I also love playing video games. So I might be a bit old for it, so what? Mostly I like playing RPGs (Role Playing Games, for those who don't know) when I do play. I like playing around on my computer too, though I get bored with doing that after awhile. I like going out with my friends, though we usually end up just going to the Kettle (or Gem's as it is now). I can't do that one anymore though, since I moved up north and they're all about two days away. I have it on good authority that they still go there for me (LoL). I also love going out for long drives. I love driving, especially if it takes me out of the city. I love looking at the countryside. I also, for those of you who didn't read what was behind my name, love the night. I can't say exactly why, I've always loved the night. How about y'all, do any of you like the night? I love going outside and lying down on the ground, looking up at the stars and the moon. Ever try counting them? I gave up on it. There is one thing I envy everyone else: I can't see the constellations. I never have been able to. The only thing I can see is Orion's Belt, just because I know those three stars together make it up. Doesn't look like a belt to me either...
