  • The English Language Institute is based in Cairo and contains a large database with ESL learning resources, links to other sites and a cyber shop which gives a complete list of software titles, sea rcheable by operating systems, hardware, and specific categories such as language proficiency level, age, price, publisher, language skill, title etc.

  • The English Insti tute comprises an abundance of information about ESL centers and courses, located in England and France, links to a number of relevant magazines, ESL projects on the Web and major sites for the study of English.

  • CNN Newsroom and WORLDVIEW for ESL offers free subscription to CNN for schools and the oportunity to receive wee kly broadcasts by Turner Educational Services Inc.,teaching materials, a review of the day's top stories and a special feature, a "Reporter's Notebook" by top CNN correspondents and a daily report of students' opinions.

  • BYUH Language Centre's WWW Resources has a large collection of resources for ESL teachers and researchers. The links are very informative, but t hey do not always work, so it is best to type in the URLs of the sites.
