Golden Glow

Golden Glow
There is a place where the sun shines
Times where joyful song is abundant
Crackle of fire and pipes of harmony
Golden glows of warmth and love

In the trees a heart weeps
Mourning for the light that cannot be theirs
The moon above does cry for these
Their hearts are too easily reached

Upset by toils of evermore hurt
Glistening tears down a sallow cheek
So near to the surface of the souls
So far from the golden glow
