I'm Ken - a mid-thirties father of two. A mostly angst-less designer living in the Pacific Northwest, trying (sometimes desperately) to balance and cement - personal relationships, professional responsibilities, family ties, household maintenance, financial obligations, dog obedience and personal hygiene into a cohesive mass. usually at the expense of REM sleep.

Monica
My wife of over 13 years, mother of my two children. I met Monica at Central Washington University when we were under grads. Within a year we were married and worked our way through school. Monica stays home with the kids, and attempts to keep things afloat on the home front.

Calvin
Absolutely one of the best seven year olds ever - and I own him! Named after the comic strip character from Calvin and Hobbes, Boku (as he is sometimes known) is a smart, aggressive- coward; May sound like braggin' but this kid is a really decent basketball pointguard.

Katie
Hmm.. one of my heros. Wakes up happy... lounges around in pajamas whenever she can...

Pat (aka - Patricia, Granny) 
Okay, I live two doors down from my in-laws. This is Monica's mom. She's got a heart of gold. 

Ted (aka. PAPA)  
Father-in-law. Slow-poke, anal , convinced that he will get rich someday  by collecting rare McDonald's happy meal toys. Ted thinks there is a conspiracy to steal his extensive collection of home videos.

Holly 
Monica's younger (by one year) sister. My sister-in law.
Holly's life is currently a mess. Her husband of seven years left her when he discovered he was gay, so she did what any rational soul; would do under the circumstances - Abandoned her kids, got hooked on drugs and moved in with a psychopath.
Her youngest child Shelby lives with us now.

Holly's young daughter, my niece. She has been living at my place since October 15, 1999. A perfectly good kid that got messed up from a lack of discipline, a dad that split, and a runaway mother. Shelby is a non-stop handfull.

Yogi & Carla

Yogi (Jon) Is one of my best friends, we go way back to High school days. Carla is his fiancee they also happen to be Calvin and Katie's godparents.
