{Hmmm..new Ninx's world brackets.}
All right, this is a complete departure from
the FOUR LOVERS series that I've decided to
write. Why? Because I can't find Alt H&H to
finish it. Seriously, though, I will finish
that story sometime before next X-Mas.
PROMISE!
But as to this, this story is something that
I've been toying with for quite a LONG time.
Anyone who has received odd fan mail from me
will know what I'm talking about--my
unwritten fic is FINALLY getting WRITTEN!
 Yippee, yahoo, and various other
exclamations.
 DISCLAIMERS:
Sailor Moon, all the other Sailor Senshi and
other names and terms associated with the
series are copyrighted by Naoko
Takeuchi,Kodansha, Bandai, DIC and all the
other companies (which I can't remember right
at this moment). DON'T SUE ME! cause there's
no infringement intended.
 A. I think just one or two here. Be in mind
that all writers I group here are there by my
personal opinion. I'm here by my personal
opinion, so no offense intended.
 B. This story takes place after Sailor
Stars. It's more fun that way. May I also
say that the Senshi action is limited.
 C. Just one more. This plot is WARPED. My
characters are DIFFERENT. The interaction is
ODD. You have been warned.
Finally, thanks to Lianne, Alys (who donated
a character) and MJ (who wanted to create a
character, and even draw it!). All write
wonderfully--Lianne has many beautiful,
beautiful series (Actually, GO READ
"Surfacings" ASAP! AWESOME! AND CHECK OUT THE
OTHER STUFF, TOO!), MJ's got a cool story,
and Alys is just wonderful. Thanks, chicas.
More reads: Bunny Anyla, Tim Nolan, Jennifer
Wand, and Pandora Waldron. All rock and
rule.
 Comments and flames to jkc1984@niia.net.
Love to hear from ya.
 Onto it, then!!!

            AN UNTITLED FANFIC
                  by: Ninx

              Chapter One
           A SERIOUS Screw-up

The world of the Sailor Senshi quieted down
after the Galaxia affair. Sure, there was
that whole thing with Ami and her "rival,"
but even that didn't do much to disturb the
peace. Once in awhile, there was a youma who
caused some trouble, but they were dispatched
with no problem. Normality reigned.
However, in the world of SSFF (Sailor Senshi
FanFiction, for those who don't know), things
were cooking. It seemed more and more people
were posting stories about the Sailor Senshi
and their various deeds. In this world there
was a building, a dark, dank, Gothic-
cathedral type building (it looked like one,
and was larger than one), simply known as The
Archive. It was here that everything was
stored, and they meant everything. It was
also here that people, mysterious people of
all types, worked sorting out various
memorabilia and cataloging whatever came
their way. They assumed the names of various
fan-fic writers in order to cover themselves;
after all, should an enemy with a real
problem with the Senshi find out about and
dispatch them, a serious problem could occur.
 The dividing up of the sections of diverse;
there was one section known as "Maintainence"
that held all Senshi uniforms, copies of pens
and other important artifacts. It worked
somewhat with another section, dusty and
rarely visited, which was known as "A-E," and
heavily guarded. It took a level 11
clearance to get through--and employees could
only posess clearances 1-10. Four other
sections were in the higher parts of the
building--"Inners," "Outers," "Good GUYS,"
and "Villians" all lined up in a row. There
were division within, of course, to handle
all the various paperwork and arranging and
sorting--they were run tightly by Andrea
Hui(and staff), Nolan and Chiang, Waldron and
Wand, Jaime and becki, respectively.
Lastly, a few other scattered sections
working with names only accorded them in
memos, like "Re-vamps" (with Lianne and
Bunny) and "Ideas" (with lady and Ninx).
It is this last worker we have to look
closely at. She--yes, a she, for most took
an author with their same gender--had worked
herself up to a level 10 clearance rather
quickly, for like her chosen author, she was
furious and creative. In a week, she managed
to reorganize the communications between her
section and the Senshi sections. She had
even cross-trained under Nolan and Hui into
the Inners and Outers sections, and was
considered to have a rough knowledge of every
regular Senshi. She also hated each and
every one of Ninx's stories. She chose the
name because it was short, and that was that.
One day, while writing up the notices for
the A-E and Maintainence (she was about to
ship them some more unmarked boxes) sections,
she got a summons from the big Room.
Nervously she took it; this was the place
were all the leaders sat, everyone who had
stock in the FF biz. There was A&L, and
McVean, and Helios, and Hui (who was so
brusequely efficent that she insisted on
running the Inners section, because it seemed
no one else could, despite her position) and
others. Big others. She wondered if they'd
frowned upon her remarks on the idiocy of
Ninx's stories--maybe she should review "H&H"
again and see if she could glean some good
from it.
"What's up?" lady asked in passing.
"It's a summons from the Room," she replied.
lady looked down, shifting the box labeled
"Soulmates and Crossroads" and peering
intently at the message.
"Aren't you going to open it?" she asked.
 "Eventually," Ninx replied.
"Oh PLEASE! You know they're not going to
fire you. Just read it."
Ninx nodded, taking a deep breath and
carefully opening the summons. It said, in
the neat script of an unknown secretary:

Report to the Room at once.

                      *****

She puzzled over the symbols for a moment,
saying aloud, "What do pi, heart, si, gamma,
diamond have to do with it?"
David, an older worker who used a fairly
good author's name (the author was good, that
is), heard and smiled at her. "Those are the
symbols for them in the Room. They like the
anominity."
She nodded, signed off her notices, and
reported at once to the Room.
She noticed quickly that it was darker, and
cooler in there, though she found the room
rather nice looking. Alternating dark blue-
light blue squares lined lined the floor;
golden light from soft candles flickered in
the room; some formal calligraphy in black
ink on white sheets adorned the high desk
were THEY sat.
"Who are you?" asked a rolling, feline voice
belonging to a black cat.
 "I am Ninx."
 "From what section?"
 "Ideas, sir."
A sharp purr. "Do you not recognize me,
Luna?" the cat asked.
"I'm afraid not, madam Luna. I haven't the
fortune of seeing you before."
"A smart answer," came a deeper voice.
A few nods in the shadows. "Ninx," called a
white cat, "how long have you worked here?"
 "About a year."
"Were you in training before that?"
"That was apart of my year, sir. I chose my
name afterwards, and set to work."
 "I understand you've been cross-trained."
"Yes, sir. My high marks were in Senshi
history and background, and this attracted
Nolan and Madam Hui. They added to my
training."
"So you have extensive knowledge of the
Senshi? What about Tux or the Generals?"
"While I haven't trained in those particular
areas, I know some about them, sir."
 "So you are well-rounded?"
 "Yes, sir."
"Ninx, I want you to take a look at this
video. It was taken late afternoon
yesterday, in Tokyo, Japan. Understand?"
"Yes, sir," she replied. It was to be of
the Senshi then.
A dim portion of the wall suddenly lit, and
flickered for a moment before a picture
appeared. It was of a girl who she
recognized as Aino Minako--or Mina, in the
US--who also doubled as Sailor V(enus). She
raised her pen-that-was-more-like-a-wand, and
shouted, "VENUS CRYSTAL POWER, MAKE-UP!"
Nothing happened for a moment. Then,
suddenly, sparks of electricity erupted from
the pen, and whirled around her. In moments,
she was transformed--into Sailor Jupiter.
Or, at least, as much as she could look like
Sailor Jupiter.
Another piece clicked on, this time of
Sailor Mercury. She'd transformed all right,
but when she went to use her attack, instead
she called out, "MERCURY AQUA SNIPER!" and
let loose with an ice arrow.
The video clicked off, and she turned back.
A man spoke.
"We are deeply disturbed by these events,
Ninx."
  she thought.
"We believe this is because of a tearing
between power lines," said another, in a
voice she couldn't place. "This enemy
apparently has been able to weaken the fields
that seperate each Senshi's abilities, and
cause chaos and confusion."
"Ninx," Luna said, "we want you to assemble
a team of people and go down there and fix
it. You will be given level 12 access and
the PT chain. Simply present this pass to
the Gatekeeper at the A-E station and select
from there. Do not breathe a word of this to
anyone. lady will take over your duties."
The blue, gold, and silver pass was
presented to her by some shadow, and she
nodded to those above. As she headed out,
someone spoke up:
 "You cannot fail."
And she turned and said, "I won't."
Yet in her mind, a queasy, nasty doubt
remained.
