Turtles are islands, adrift in the currents and pulled by the tides. A turtle spirit floats, taking the shape of the water and the sun-patterns on the sand where it searches for sweet seaweed.

Or it crawls at the water's edge, flippers waving a dance, clicking the pebbles like castanets.
