Tai Ji (Tai Chi)

Tai Ji Tai Ji..

As a symbol of the interrelationship of Yin and Yang originated thousands of years ago in China. As an art, Tai Ji Quan incorporates external physical exercise, the cultivation of internal energies, and moving meditation to balance internal Yin and Yang energies.

Originally developed as a form of martial art, Tai Ji Quan can be practiced for self-defense or merely as an all-around exercise. The combination of slow flowing movements and focused mental awareness, make Tai Ji Quan an ideal exercise for any age group.

Its movements train balance, gracefulness, concentration, strength and calmness. Daily practice will:

  • release stress from mind and body
  • develop balance
  • improve health
  • increase energy
  • bring awareness of the Qi
  • promote awareness of the inter-connectedness of the mind and body
