Now, to most people who meet me, it's no surprise that I kind of dig Tori Amos. Actually, most of those people would say it's an understatement. Well. I'd just like to make it clear that despite the rumours, I am not obsessed. I just really, really, really, really find her and her music.. nifty. It took me several years to get even remotly hooked to Tori's music. In fact, I recall having seen a few videos and heard a few songs years before I appreciated it and having rolled my eyes and groaned. "Look at that, what is that, is it supposed to be ARTISTIC or something??" Finally, in 1996, a friend bought three Tori album's and soon urged me that I had to give it a chance. So, I did. And I kind of fell for it. Real hard. Since then I have acquired numerous CD's, singles, posters, "imports", and seen two concerts (August 12, Charlotte, NC, and October 18, Raleigh, NC, 1998), and even have a boot of the latter show. Her lyrics never stop to amaze me, the way she works rythms and her voice, and I dig what she says when she talks. That's all. Oh, and she's cute.
