Bowie Films: All that and he acts, too. Over the years Bowie has not only acted in many feature films, but he's done what so many rockers can't: he's acted well. In this section of Eqx-net find reviews of Bowie's various narrative (Labyrinth, Last Temptation of Christ) and documentary (Serious Moonlight) films.

It was in Junior High School that McCue realized how incredible Bowie is. For a while, he owned only BowieChanges. It was because of this disc that McCue claimed that Bowie is God (he shouted this in the summer of 1994 in Vienna, Austria). In 1997 or 1998, McCue got this disc jammed in a 7-Disc AIWA stero. In rescuing the stero, the disc was destroyed. Thank God for the good people at Empire Discs in Garden City, without them and their daily bins of used CDs, McCue would be without Changes.
Todd Haynes' Velvet Goldmine: 1998's Velvet Goldmine is the perfect salute to David Bowie and the world of Glam Rock. For a Bowie fan, the film is bound to raise an eyebrow or two and plunge you back into the early era of Bowie, back when spacemen were going to bring the "Pretty Things" to the next level of evolution (Long "e"). For a non-Bowie fan (be that possible) this is bound to be the catalyst to a long lasting aural love affair with the Laughing Gnome himself.
