"Friends"
"friends,"
they say they'll be there.
in times of happiness,
in times of sadness,
no matter the situation.
but,
when the time comes,
and you call upon them,
where are they?
why won't they help?
then,
it's way too late,
you sink too deep.
they try and rescue,
but you're already gone.
and,
where are they going to turn?
who will be there for them?
what "friends" will save them?
and why didn't they help you?
