As the sun finally sets,
I awaken, ready for the night.
The daylight finally fade,
I rise, waiting for the night.
As darkness blankets the sky overhead,
Everyone knows that the night has arrived.
I enter the darkness on the street,
Searching for blood that has been deprived.
I walk the streets, dressed in black,
Looking for the next person to kill.
I see you, and as you look at me,
Our eyes meet and you get a chill.
I lead you back,
Like a shepherd and his sheep,
To the place where I dwell,
A dark place where I sleep.
I fall in love with you,
Your beauty overwhelms me.
I don't want to kill you, but instead,
Make you one to be with me.
I tilt you head back
And raise your chin,
I can see blood racing
Under your skin.
My teeth sink in,
Tasting your blood.
Rushing into my mouth,
Like an unexpected flood.
I drain your blood
To the point of being dead,
Then I slit my wrist and say,
"Drink from me, go right ahead."
I feel your lips and
Your hand on my arm.
"Drink for eternal life and love,
It will cause me no harm."
You mouth moves away,
Covered with blood that is red,
Your face is pale,
Like something already dead.
You flash me a smile,
Your teeth now fangs,
Like knifes in a rack,
Stuck there, they hang.
"You have had a big day.
You are now Undead.
Get some rest and tomorrow,
You will go out and be fed."
